Kentucky deputies arrest three people, seize meth, fentanyl following traffic stop

A traffic stop by Kentucky law enforcement has led to the arrest of three people and the seizure of meth and fentanyl.
Robert Pandolfi of Lakewood, California, was arrested for trafficking and possession of a handgun by a felon. Two Kentucky women, Brandy Young and Sandy M. Cooper of Albany were arrested as well.
Young was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, driving under the influence, driving with a suspended operator’s license and for 2 traffic violations. Cooper was arrested for trafficking in a controlled substance and for possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
Wayne County Sheriff’s Department officials say the three people were arrested during a traffic stop early Thursday morning.
A search of the Pandolfi’s car led to the discovery of 56 grams of meth and a handgun.
Deputies then obtained a warrant for the search of a motel room where an additional 311 grams of meth and 7.5 grams of fentanyl were discovered.
All three were sent to the Wayne County Detention Center.
