Two Kentucky cities and one utility are receiving $2.7 million for three sewer and water improvement projects.
The funding is going to the city of Lawrenceburg, the South Anderson Water District and the city of Frankfort, Gov. Andy Beshear’s office said in a news release. Beshear also presented a ceremonial check for a highway safety project in Anderson County on Tuesday.
The funding is from the Better Kentucky Plan’s $250 million Cleaner Water Program.
The awards will fund three projects, ranging from water line extensions to construction of a new pump station.
