Kentucky man charged in hit-and-run death of bicyclist, state police say

A Kentucky man has been charged after state police say he ran over a man on a bicycle, then fled the scene.

Kentucky State Police were called to a two-vehicle fatal collision in Pike County at approximately 9:50 p.m. Wednesday.

The collision occurred on US 460 in the Millard community of Pike County.

Upon arrival and through investigation, troopers discovered Clinton Justice was operating a 2013 Ford Edge when his vehicle struck Eric Justice while riding his bicycle.

Clinton Justice fled the scene, but was located and arrested a short time later. Eric Justice was pronounced deceased on scene by the Pike County Coroner’s Office. It was not immediately clear if the two were related.

As a result of this investigation, Clinton Justice was arrested and lodged in the Pike County Detention Center on the charges of Leaving Scene of an Accident, Operating Motor Vehicle under the Influence, and Vehicular Homicide when under the Influence.
